The method. The science.
The person who built it.
The physical cost of
modern work.
The physical cost of sitting still for six to eight hours a day has been worked around but never worked on. That is the gap The Work Body Lab exists to close.
What the science confirms.
The hip flexors shorten. The glutes deactivate. The spine rounds forward. This is what prolonged sitting does to the body and the damage accumulates in the body of every person at every desk in every company.
What we built instead.
Not yoga. Not a wellness app. Not a generic fitness program repackaged for the workplace. A movement method built specifically around the physical demands of desk-based work, delivered by dedicated movement coaches.
What The Work Body Lab actually is.
A dedicated coach assigned to your team. Live movement sessions, up to five times a week, 25 minutes each, delivered inside the working day.
No equipment or gym clothes required.
Every session follows the Work Body Lab method, built around the six areas desk work impacts most: neck and shoulders, spine, hips, wrists, circulation and the nervous system. The sequence is the same each time because consistency is how the body changes.
The minimum commitment is one quarter. Enough time for posture, mobility and energy improvements to become noticeable and sustained. That is not a marketing claim. It is the minimum effective dose for measurable physical change.
Companies choose between the Lite programme, three sessions a week, and the Full programme, five sessions a week. Both include a dedicated coach, a private company hub.
Built from
the inside out.
I spent nearly a decade leading global launches at Apple and Google. The work was demanding and the physical cost was real. Persistent migraines, locked hips, posture that had re-organised itself around a screen. Years of yoga, gym and pilates made no lasting difference. Meditation helped my mind but kept my body still, which was already the problem.
In 2024 I left the world of tech and turned to mobility movement. Not stretching, not fitness. Movement built around what desk work specifically does to the body over time. I worked with world class coaches and began moving in ways the body was actually designed for. It changed my health and showed me the gap The Work Body Lab was built to fill.
I built this because I could not find it when I needed it. Every desk-based team deserves access to a movement method that addresses what sitting costs the body over time.
